My favourite city

I know this homework is really late, but better late than never.
I wanted to write about my favourite city.

My favourite city is GUANGZHOU.

Guangzhou is in the south of china near Hong Kong and it is a international city.

Guangzhou conducted asia Olympic game in 2010.
Guangzhou's local language is Cantonese and it is famous for its food like boat porridge and morning tea.

Boat porridge is called Boat Porridge because in the past, boats on the river near the city used to sell it to tourists and travellers. It was a popular food on the river. Gradually, the restaurants on land started to sell this kind of porridge and Boat Porridge became a familiar snack in locals’ life. Here's a picture of some:
















Guangzhou has a lot of famous historical building and river like chenjiachi, xiguang and the Pearl River

When you have time, you should go there.
